The intimate meeting of the esteemed manager of research and technology of Urmia University of Medical Sciences with the managers of clinical departments in the Clinical Research Institute was held on 08/03/2022. In this meeting, the esteemed manager of the Clinical Research Institute, Dr. Mohammad Reza Pashaei, spoke about the correct inclusion of affiliations of research centers as the first affiliation in articles and emphasized the importance of this issue. Vice-chancellor for Research and Technology, Dr. Saber Gholizadeh, said that faculty members whose first affiliation is the correct affiliation of research centers would receive the most scores in the promotion process. He also emphasized that the writing of the proposals and dissertations should be done by the students and also stated that before defending the proposal, the proposal file must be registered in the research system. At the end of the meeting, all professors expressed their views. They agreed it is better to hold training courses on compiling and writing a proposal and dissertation at the university.
